Another wild "coincidence"

Another wild "coincidence"

Or a message from the other side?

Lately, I have been writing about nutrition, supplements, GreenMin, minerals, and other medical topics, but today, I want to share something personal.

If you have been around for more than a couple of decades, you know that life is not for the fainthearted. I mean, we complain when s… happens as if it were something out of the norm, while in reality, it is quite extraordinary when things go smoothly without a glitch.

This month, I wrote about my fall and cervical disc injury but my mind keeps wandering to the most exciting event of the year and that is finding "Skai's apprentice." The name-guessing contest is in full swing and the competition has been fierce.... (Just kidding, you are all very civilized and have had great name ideas!)

In fact, someone tried to get the new dog's name from my friend! Smart, but it didn’t work because to make the contest fair, no one knows.🤓

What really warms my heart is your enthusiasm and excitement about this upcoming event. It tells me that you, too, miss Skai. Thank you for all the name contributions in the contest and also trying your luck for our Grand Prize of a $500 Gift card for the Healing Store.

Someone guessed the name but the submission is void!

A few days ago, I searched through the submissions, and, indeed, someone had guessed the name, but they didn’t comply with the contest rules. They didn’t leave their contact information and instead, submitted a link to a site that is known for enabling puppy mill sales, which is a BIG "no-no".

Some time ago, I wrote an article about puppy mills, and this submission led me to repost this important article again. We all must say "no" to any mill puppies, no matter how hard it may be. Purchasing a puppy from a puppy mill is NOT THE SOLUTION but a part of the problem. I am sure you see what I mean.

This means the contest goes on, and you still have a chance to enter!

Another wild "coincidence" in my life

Perhaps, you remember the story of a sculpture of the little devil I shared with you earlier this year. I contemplated about statistically improbable "coincidences" and played with the possibility that in some way, these events are "messages from the other side" from those we have loved and lost.

Yesterday, another such event happened when we had visitors who brought along their four-year-old daughter, Grace. We were talking in the kitchen, and I spotted her coloring book on the counter. I opened the first page, and there it was, the name we had chosen for our new dog printed in black and white!

Would you believe it? What are the chances? One in a gazillion? At first, I tried to grasp what I saw, but then I thought, could this be a message from the other side?! Why not play with the idea that Skai's saying "Yes" to the name we chose?

I imagine you now may be wondering what the name is, when the new pup will arrive or perhaps you will be going through every coloring book you see to win a $500 Gift Card to our Healing Store 🤪.

I hope it is ok if we continue the game. To be honest I have been so close to giving you a hint but then I realized it would not be fair to the people who already entered.  As to the timeline, it will ideally be sometime in May to July but ultimately, we let the universe decide. There will be plenty of time for me to turn into a "new dog crazy person"! 😂🐶🤩

The good news is that there is no limit on how many name guesses you submit and you can also ask your family and friends to help and share the prize! All you need to do is to click on the button below!

PS:  Some of you have been asking for raw-food diet recipes. We are planning to have something really fun in that area ready within a few weeks. Stay tuned! :-)
