Hello, I just got a pembroke corgi puppy and he was given the “5 in 1″ shot at 6, then 9 weeks. I was told he was due for it again tomorrow (he turns 12 weeks) and since I read this page I looked up if they have the Parvovirus vaccine by itself and they don’t even offer it unless you get the “5 in 1″. the 5 in 1 also has the m Distemper, Hepatitis (Adenovirus type 2), Parainfluenza, as well as the Parvovirus. You said not to get combination shots.. So what do I do?? I want to make him have the best life possible, I don’t want him to get any more artificial garbage fed to him than I have to.

In situations like these, it is hard for a conventional practitioner not trained in homeopathy to see the connections. I am sure your vet is trying his very best. Since my dogs first rabies vaccine, he’s been scratching himself excessively. He has since developed symptoms of hypothyroidism and his tested levels are at the lowest normal levels. He was started on thyroxin and improved greatly within 3 months. All of the symptoms disappeared, until his next rabies shot, when his thyroid level dropped and all of the symptoms came back worse than before. My vet was adamant to the point of getting openly hostile toward me when I suggested that maybe the vaccine was to blame. He did, do another thyroid level,which came back lower. He told me not to increase the present dosage and my dog is suffering. He does not have allergies, he’s been tested and also does not respond to allergy meds. I want to give him something natural to reverse this problem, any suggestions?
