For years, I have been wondering if there can be such thing as organic food made in China. Here is why I try to avoid any food or products made in China as much as I can. YOU SIMPLY CAN’T TRUST THEM…

Hi Peter -
Just wanted to say how much I appreciated your info about Whole Foods and the Chinese “organics”. How disappointing and actually shocking it was to hear. I’ve always felt that Whole Foods was really wholesome and authentic; now I feel very differently. I have a lovely organic store in my neighbourhood which I really try to support.
I also don’t trust dog toys (or chldren’s toys) which are made in China……think they probably have a lot of lead in them. Not sure if you are aware that the “O” ball that you have promoted is manufactured in China?
Hi Bridie, thank you for comment, I totally agree, we should try to support local stores to prevent them from being swallowed by companies who care only about the bottom line. Wholefoods has never been my favourite company, then had applied some unfair business practices against Wild Oats , before they bought them, the owner of WF prented to be a customer and badmouthed Wild Oats online.
I didn’t actually know that Oball was from China. It is supposed to be child safe so who knows. Is there a toy that is not manufactured in China?
The world is just a one wild place, isn’t it?
Thanks, Peter, for your response.
There are lots of toys made in Canada or the United States. More expensive than those made in China but we have to consider the ultimate cost.
Dear Bridie, the problem with most dog toys is that they are made of rubber and other plastics that leech chemicals and are not food safe. Lets try to search for food safe toys Let me know if you find any.
