1.    Boron is required primarily for maintaining the integrity of cell walls.
2.    Bromine is an essential trace element for red algae and possibly mammals.
3.    Calcium is crucial to building and maintaining strong bones, teeth, and connective tissue. It also promotes healthy digestion production of hormones and enzymes; is essential in conducting nerve impulses to the heart and other muscles.  Calcium plays a role in  normal blood clotting, as well as  high blood pressure and colon cancer prevention.
4.    Chlorine as chloride (Cl-) is essential for mammals and plants. Digestive juices in the stomach contain hydrochloric acid.
5.    Copper is essential for all life and it is the key component of many enzymes and the pigment haemocyanin.

• Where it comes from: When  we looked for the best source of organic Spirulina, we were surprised to find  out that no organic Spirulina is grown in North America. The only country where we could get organic blue green algae was China. Knowing the recent history  of questionable certification process of Chinese organic food,  we  quickly declined that option.  Instead, we decided to source all natural Californian Spirulina knowing that it truly is grown without the use of pesticides and chemicals.  The good news is that  “Earthrise Spirulina”is an all natural product that is produced under one of the most rigorous production quality control in the world.

Dosage and Administration
